Launching back in 2018, Onestream is part of the Hampshire-based broadband specialist Onecom. Its customer service teams are all based in the UK.

Onestream offers a small but affordable selection of full fibre broadband packages. It uses the Openreach network and can offer ultrafast and gigafast speeds of up to 1000 Mbps. All plans include unlimited data.

Broadband packages

Supreme Full Fibre 80  This entry-level package has average download speeds of 62Mbps and has no download limits. An offering perfect for browsing and streaming in households with 5-10 simultaneous devices.

Supreme Full Fibre 115 A fibre optic plan that offers a 100 Mbps download speed with no download limits. Ideal for those uploading large content, streaming and online gaming.

Supreme Full Fibre 220 This speedy full fibre package offers an average download speed of 200Mbps. This package can easily handle ten+ devices all requiring an internet connection at the same time. Gamers will be kept happy with its 26Mbps upload speed.

Supreme Full Fibre 550 One of Onestream’s ultrafast products with typical download rates of 500Mbps. Incredibly fast connection, great for large households, multiple devices and downloading and streaming movies and videogames in UHD (ultra high definition).

Hyperstream Full Fibre 1000 Onestream’s premium package. This full fibre package offers users an impressive average download speed of 900Mbps which will easily cover all high-use working and gaming internet usage in large, busy households.

Switching to Onestream

Switching to Onestream should be straight forward. Once you’ve selected your package, it normally takes around 16 days for your new order to go live. If you do need an engineer for a new line installation then Onestream will arrange for this. Or if you already have a line in place, you’ll be posted out a router that just needs to be plugged in on your go-live date.

If Onestream are taking over an existing service, there will be no need for you to inform your current provider that you’re leaving. However, if you are having a new service installed, you’ll need to get in touch with your current provider to cancel your service as soon as your Onestream broadband goes live.

### Router

Onestream offers three different routers, which you’ll get will depend on what package you’ve opted for.

The entry-level plans – Onestream Fibre 55 and Onestream Fibre 80 – both get the Essentials Router.

The faster FTTP packages will get a Superstream and Superstream+ router. There’s also an option to use your own router which will work as long as it is compatible with your connection type.

Digital Voice

You can choose Digital Voice as an add-on option. This new home phone service replaces the need for a landline as it’s powered by broadband connection and plugs into the back of your router. You no longer need to pay for line rental and there are different priced options where you can have a call allowance covering you from pay-as-you-go calls to unlimited calls that include international numbers.

Price Increases

Some broadband providers may increase monthly prices in line with the retail or consumer price index each year during the length of your contract. Please refer to individual broadband provider's terms and conditions before signing up.
