If you use our broadband availability checker, Fibre Compare will use the postcode you enter to perform a broadband availability check using information provided by Sam Knows (an independent technology company that we work with to interrogate UK broadband supplier availability in villages, towns and cities across the UK). We do not store your telephone number. We may store your postcode and other non-personal data for the purpose of assisting with national availability statistics for our website.

We use third-party advertising companies, such as Google AdWords and Google Display Network, to serve ads directing you to our website or after you exit our website. These companies may use non-personally identifying information (not including your name, address, email address or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide interest-based advertisements about goods and services of interest to you.

Data you share with Internet Service Providers
If you place an order with a supplier for a broadband service, after having visited our website, we will not hold any of your personal data nor will the supplier share the data they request from you during your application for their service. Broadband providers (Internet Service Providers) such as BT, TalkTalk, Sky, Plusnet and Virgin Media supply broadband, phone, mobile and TV services to customers throughout the UK.

The supplier will collect personal information from you. Please note that you will be entering a contract directly with that supplier and we advise you to carefully read their privacy policy and their terms and conditions. We cannot be held responsible for the uses to which a supplier puts your personal information once you have left our website.

Customer Service
Fibre Compare does not store any of your personal data and we cannot therefore assist in queries relating to orders, cancellations or complaints. We request that all queries relating to your order with an ISP are directed to the appropriate customer service department for the provider that you have entered in to an agreement with for a broadband, home phone or TV service.
