Latest Community Fibre deals

Why choose Community Fibre?

  • London’s fastest speeds up to 5Gbps
  • Great value
  • Symmetrical – upload the same as download – speeds

Community Fibre is one of the fastest-growing broadband providers in the UK, bringing ultra-fast full fibre speeds of up to 5Gbps straight into your home. Because it uses its own independent network rather than relying on Openreach, it’s able to offer greater reliability and faster speeds. With full fibre (FTTP), you get fibre cables running directly to your property – no more slow, old-fashioned copper phone lines holding you back.

Community Fibre isn’t just for Londoners anymore. The service is expanding into the South East, with availability in towns like Woking, Bexhill-on-Sea, Hailsham, Horsham, Burgess Hill and many others – so more households can enjoy fast, affordable broadband without compromise.

Community Fibre broadband plans

In slow to fast order

100Mbps

This superfast package can easily handle 5-7 devices all requiring an internet connection at the same time. Gamers will be kept happy with its equal-to-download 150Mbps upload speed.

300Mbps

An impressive plan that powers an average download speed of 300Mbps. This choice manages the demands of heavy data users, whether you’re streaming constantly or running a business from home. It can manage 9-12 devices and download an HD movie in 1 minute 8 seconds.

500Mbps

This powerful plan has an average download speed of 500Mbps. These serious speeds make it possible to download an HD movie in 23 seconds and can easily handle 9-12 devices simultaneously.

1Gbps

This full fibre package offers users an impressive average download and upload speed of 900Mbps which will easily support 12+ devices for the ultimate experience in large, busy households.

2.5Gbps

There's fast and then there's this. Will you ever need an average download – and upload – speed of 2530Mbps? Probably not. But it will cover all your needs seamlessly and it comes with the most advanced router on the market which is WiFi 6 ready. Plus, a guarantee of whole home coverage comes in the price of the package.

5Gbps

The absolute ultimate in speed. Under no circumstance will you ever need this much bandwidth at home, but if you really want the biggest and the best you'll be able to: stream 100+ 4K movies at once, download Call of Duty in about 3 minutes (this would take you 3 hours 25 minutes on a normal 100Mbps package) and upload as many game streams to Twitch as you fancy without a single jitter. This also comes with a guarantee of whole home coverage.

What router do you get with Community Fibre broadband?

Community Fibre supplies fast, reliable Wi-Fi 6 routers tailored to your package, so you get strong coverage and consistent performance throughout your home.

Linksys Velop Wi-Fi 6 (up to 1Gbps): Plans up to 1Gbps include the Linksys Velop Wi-Fi 6 router. It’s a tri-band, mesh-ready system designed to keep speeds stable across multiple rooms and devices.

Technicolor FGA5330 (2.5Gbps & 5Gbps): On the 2.5Gbps or 5Gbps packages, you’ll receive the Technicolor FGA5330. It’s built for multi-gig connections and offers more headroom than most households will ever need – useful if you want maximum future-proofing.

Community Fibre Premium Wi-Fi

Premium WiFi is available with Community Fibre 1Gbps, 3Gbps and 5Gbps packages, costing just £2–£6 more than its standard broadband plans.

Community Fibre’s Premium WiFi packages guarantee strong whole-home coverage, with minimum speeds of 35Mbps in up to 12 rooms (including five bedrooms) spread across three floors. To achieve this, engineers install additional Mesh WiFi 6 routers to ensure every corner of your home is covered.

If Community Fibre fails to deliver the guaranteed minimum speed, customers receive three months of free broadband as compensation. Like most providers, the guarantee doesn’t extend to outbuildings such as garages or garden rooms.

Switching to Community Fibre broadband is easy

If you’re a new customer, Community Fibre aim to get you up and running within two weeks.

They will handle the whole switching process, so you won’t even have to contact your current broadband provider to tell them you’re leaving. Community Fibre will handle the whole transfer for you.

All of the Community Fibre packages are FTTP (Fibre to premises) so will need an engineer to come and set it up for you. The engineer will advise you on the best route for internal cabling and best position for your mesh WiFi router before drilling a 6-8mm hole in your wall to bring the fibre optic cable into your home. This will usually be located close to a door, balcony or window. Once they’ve mounted the fibre socket, modem and mesh WiFi router, they will also position any additional routers you’ve ordered to maximise coverage.

Before they leave, the engineer will test your speeds through a fixed connection and through WiFi and will connect up to two of your devices. The whole process should take around two hours.

Price increases

Community Fibre has announced annual price rises for customers signing up from 3 June 2025 onwards. These will take place on 1 April each year, even if you’re mid-contract. In 2026, prices are set to increase by £2 per month.
