Toob connects 100,000 broadband customers across the south of England
Hampshire-based broadband provider toob has reached a major milestone – signing up its 100,000th customer to full fibre broadband. The fast-growing ISP, which started out building its own network in the south of England, now also partners with CityFibre to widen its coverage.
Breaking down the numbers
- 60,000 customers are on toob’s own-built fibre network.
- 40,000 customers are connected via CityFibre’s network.
That partnership has been a game-changer for toob, dramatically boosting its reach. As of September 2025, the provider now serves homes and businesses across 28 counties and 89 towns and cities.
Where can you get toob?
Toob’s own network is concentrated around Southampton, Portsmouth, Aldershot, Farnborough, Fleet, Frimley, Blackwater, Yateley and Woking. Recently, it has expanded into places like Portchester, with more rollouts planned. Beyond those core areas, its partnership with CityFibre means customers in dozens of other towns and cities can also sign up.
Affordable full fibre
One of the biggest reasons for toob’s rapid growth is its cheaper pricing. Deals start at just £22 per month for 150Mbps (with equal download and upload speeds) or £25 per month for gigabit speeds on an 18-month contract.
Backed for growth
Toob’s expansion is supported by major investment – around £395 million from Amber Infrastructure Group and Ares Management. This backing is helping fund the continued rollout of its own fibre, alongside the CityFibre partnership.
