Sky Cinema’s new movie premieres for October 2025

Sky Cinema has a packed line-up of new premieres this October, from sequels and thrillers to spooky horrors for Halloween. Subscribers also get Paramount+ included, plus two free Vue cinema tickets each month. And if you’re not a Sky TV customer, you can still watch with a NOW Cinema Membership – more on that below.

3 October – Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy

Renée Zellweger returns as Bridget in the long-awaited sequel. Now a widow and single mum, she faces the ups and downs of parenting while navigating the attention of a much younger man. Expect the same humour, awkwardness and warmth that made Bridget a British favourite.

4 October – Code 3

This gritty drama follows two paramedics on a relentless 24-hour shift. With one ready to walk away, the pair must train a rookie while continuing to respond to emergencies across the city. Starring Rainn Wilson and Lil Rel Howery, it blends intensity with dark humour.

5 October – It Feeds

A chilling supernatural tale in which a young girl arrives claiming that something sinister is feeding on her. A clairvoyant therapist must confront forces she doesn’t fully understand to save her. Ashley Greene and Shawn Ashmore lead this eerie horror.

10 October – Grow

A stern farmer reluctantly takes in her estranged niece, who has a unique gift for growing plants. When the girl enters the local pumpkin competition, it sets the stage for an emotional story about family bonds, reconciliation and belonging.

11 October – Presence

Lucy Liu and Julia Fox star in this haunted house thriller. A family’s new home seems perfect at first, but unsettling occurrences soon suggest that something – or someone – else is living there with them.

12 October – The Stranger in My Home

Sophia Bush stars as Ali, whose life is upended when a mysterious man appears without explanation. As she and her daughter Katie are pulled into his lies, their safety and trust are put to the test.

17 October – Black Bag

Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett headline this high-stakes spy thriller. Legendary agent George Woodhouse faces his toughest mission yet when his wife is suspected of betraying the nation, forcing him to confront a devastating personal and professional crisis.

18 October – Lake George

When hitman Don can’t go through with a kill, he forms an unlikely alliance with his intended target, Phyllis. Together, they plot to steal from the very people who ordered her death. Carrie Coon and Shea Whigham star in this tense, noir-inspired crime drama.

19 October – Ick

A sarcastic teen, her mother and their science teacher must join forces to stop a parasitic alien that threatens their town. With a mix of wit and horror, this sci-fi adventure stars Brandon Routh and Mena Suvari.

24 October – Dog Man

Based on the hit children’s books, Dog Man is a half-dog, half-human cop determined to stop feline supervillain Petey the Cat. With voices from Lil Rel Howery and Pete Davidson, this animated comedy is packed with fun for families.

25 October – Psycho Therapy

A struggling novelist finds himself inspired by an unusual friendship – with a retired serial killer. Steve Buscemi and Britt Lower star in this unsettling dark comedy about creativity, morality and obsession.

26 October – Y2K

Set on New Year’s Eve 1999, two teenagers suddenly find themselves in a world where machines rise against humanity. A nostalgic survival thriller with Rachel Zegler and Julian Dennison that blends retro style with apocalyptic action.

31 October – Companion

Closing out the month on Halloween night, Companion follows a group of friends at a lakeside estate who discover secrets that test their loyalty and trust. Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid star in this atmospheric slow-burn thriller – the perfect spooky watch for October 31st.
