Why choose Hyperoptic?

  • Full fibre speeds up to 1Gbps
  • Great value hyperfast packages
  • Flexible monthly options

Hyperoptic was the first full fibre-only alternative networks to enter the market, showing exactly how a smaller provider can tempt customers away from the big names – faster speeds, competitive prices, better customer service and flexible contract options.

Despite its rapid speeds, Hyperoptic remains competitively priced and offers flexible rolling contracts for those who prefer not to commit long-term.H

What router do you get with Hyperoptic broadband?

Hyperoptic provides customers with a free Hyperhub router when they subscribe to their broadband service. The latest Hyperoptic router is the Zyxel EX3301. This model supports Wi-Fi 6 technology and is designed to provide improved Wi-Fi performance, especially for households with multiple connected devices.

This hub offers features such as dual-band operation (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz), five Gigabit Ethernet ports (four LAN and one WAN), mesh technology capabilities for extenders, and support for Wi-Fi 6 for faster speeds and reduced lag.

Hyperoptic Total Wi-Fi

For peace of mind connectivity, you can add Hyperoptic Total Wi-Fi to your plan. This mesh Wi-Fi service ensures top-tier speed, reliability and coverage in every room – perfect for larger homes or properties with thick walls where a single router might struggle.

It includes a powerful Wi-Fi extender, the Minihub, which can be set up in minutes to supercharge your Hyperoptic connection. By creating a seamless network between your main router and the Minihub, you’ll enjoy consistent signal strength whether you are.

Switching to Hyperoptic broadband is easy

If you already have a Hyperoptic router and socket, you can be online within minutes.

However, most customers will need an engineer visit. But even these can be arranged for the next day if available. On installation day, an engineer will fit a socket or internal fibre converter, connect your router, and ensure everything is running smoothly – typically within an hour.

Hyperoptic also takes care of the entire switching process, so you won’t need to contact your current provider. They’ll handle the transfer from start to finish.

Price increases

Hyperoptic has announced annual price rises for customers signing up from 3 June 2025 onwards. These will take place on 1 April each year, even if you’re mid-contract. In 2026, prices are set to increase by £3 per month.
