Virgin Media customers lose 10 UKTV channels including Dave, Gold and Alibi

Virgin Media customers no longer have access to view 10 UKTV channels including Dave and Gold, after a dispute over fees between the digital cable TV operator and UKTV who own the channels.

The news means about 4 million Virgin Media subscribers will no longer be able to watch the channels which air shows such as Only Fools and Horses, Red Dwarf and Taskmaster. Channels affected are: Dave, Gold, Drama, Home, Really, Eden, Yesterday, Alibi, Good Food and W.

The 10 channels are still available to watch on Sky, BT, TalkTalk, and across Freeview and Freesat. UKTV, which is co-owned by the BBC and Discovery, also makes its channels available online through UKTV Play.
